Last time I tried to curl my hair I spent 3 hours using a 10-year old curling wand that my cousin gave to me (most likely because it didn’t work) and of course the curls fell out within 3.4 seconds and it was all a disaster. So when I first tried my new Irresistible Me curling wand, let’s just say it was inevitably a better experience…
This curler has 8 different wand options, so you can literally never get bored of curls. Perfect if you have hair like mine, and even the idea of moisture sends your recently straightened hair spiralling out of control. Moisture + curls = no problems! The wand also heats up super fast, and to a super hot temperature so you only need to heat the curls for around 10 seconds. The fact that it’s fast and effective makes curling so much easier for me, as I have probably enough hair to produce 10 hair blankets. I have no idea why I used that analogy, a blanket made out of hair sounds seriously gross. But either way, my hair is super thick and long so I normally never bother doing anything with it – given how fast this curler is though, looks like I’ll be rocking some snazzy hairstyles around the place.
The wand comes with a special little stand which means you don’t constantly need to fear that your bed/rug/carpet is going to set on fire when you place it down in between curls. Yes, I often used put my curler/straightener on my carpet. Yes, I did once step into the straightener and burn both sides of my foot. So let’s just say it’s very beneficial for my safety to have this new little stand. It also comes with a glove so even really stupid people like me can’t possibly burn themselves in any way.
The only downside is that it has an American power plug, so I had to buy a converter to an Australian one. Luckily however, it has dual voltage which means the difference in voltage between American/Australian power points is not an issue like with some appliances.
