I’m known to be a serial over-dresser, but when heading to brunch with other bloggers can you ever really be overdressed? I mean that’s like asking if your camera lens can be TOO large. Or if you coffee can be TOO strong. Or if it’s a silly idea to pick the aesthetically pleasing dish over the one you really want. I think we all know the answer to those questions.
So anyway, I wasn’t really worried when I accidentally put on a ball outfit the morning of a brunch with my trusty photographer/blogging buddy Fei (@_theaesthetics) and my soon-to-be-blogging-buddy Danielle (@stylemehappy_). They didn’t blink an eyelid at my curled hair, vampy lipstick or princess-y-vibing sleeves.
In contrast, the meal I ordered managed to drop some jaws, including mine. I was expecting an acai bowl – because of course silly me paid much too much attention to the Instagram photos of the cafe (the only way to pick your dish), and zero attention to the actual menu. I therefore didn’t realise the menu had actually changed. No complaints though, as my mystery dish takes out the gold medal for the most beautiful food creation I’ve ever seen.
With a meal just MADE for photos, perfect shooting weather (AKA no rain) and two bloggers on call for photography, the only challenge I faced that day was attempting to avoid dipping my sleeves into anything unpleasant (food, coffee, the toilet…)

Hey Miranda, I super LOVE everything in this outfit! Those WOW wild animal prints, furry deets, HAIR (like Rapunzel), Shoes everything are stunning when put together! And yup, it would be pretty insane for me to wear something similar in Singapore because the weather’s so hot and humid :X Have a great week 😉

Hi Aldora,
Aw thanks so much girl! I used my Irresistible Me curler and it’s so effective on my hair! I love having tamed curls haha. I want to curl my hair everyday!!! AWww no that’s so annoying – i think I’d hate to live in Singapore just because it never gets cold and I love winter clothes so much haha! Xx

Hi Miranda! I love your sense of fashion- your curled hair is so elegant and the off-the-shoulder top looks perfect on you. The furry bag is so original! I am sure you were the most original blogger at the brunch. Btw, the “mystery dish” looks yummy and I would get two of those capuccinos as well!
