It’s no secret that I’m a fan of a bold accessory or two – from huge fluffy / hairy pompoms, to brightly-coloured-and-inevitably-completely-useless sunglasses, to chokers than range from kinda-cute to you-should-save-that-for-Berlin-only. Whether you fancy making a statement, having an architectural masterpiece around your neck or simply having a hint of sparkle to add to an otherwise minimal look… JewelStreet has you covered.
I was so excited to discover Noritamy on JewelStreet, as I often find it hard to track down really unique pieces that can live up to the bizarre-ity (that wasn’t previously a word, but as of this blog post it is) of my outfits. It’s a tough game to keep up with and often less-extravagant-verging-on-normal-looking jewellery pieces can get left behind. My jewellery wardrobe gets a Hunger Games-like update every so often and only the most unique and exciting get to remain. Just for the record, I don’t actually destroy the other jewellery, I generally just shove it in a box somewhere (in case you know, it ever comes back in fashion in like 15 years). Also, more than one piece gets to remain. It’s actually nothing like the Hunger Games to be honest. ENTER: silver collar by Noritamy from JewelStreet. In a world where PVC, giant metal rings and orange lipstick prevail, this silver choker has managed to still standout. It elevates the outfit with more force than I ever thought a choker possibly could (and that’s saying something, because normal choker can take an outfit from super cool to looking like a hooker in an instant).
